Uniforms for Hope

Rainbow® Sandals Foundation is honored to continue its support for Uniforms for Hope, a remarkable non-profit organization dedicated to helping children attend school by providing them with uniforms. This partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to receive an education and build a brighter future. Through our continued support, we aim to contribute to the positive impact Uniforms for Hope has on the lives of countless children, giving them the resources they need to succeed in their academic journey.

Maureen Maloof founded Uniforms for Hope after traveling to over 40 countries and visiting schools and orphanages around the world. She realized that in many countries children were not attending school because they could not afford the mandatory uniform required to attend public school. There are over 260 million children worldwide not attending school and many of them because they can't afford a uniform. Uniforms For Hope provides uniforms for children to be able to attend school. So far, we have helped children in Kenya, Cambodia, Uganda, Lebanon, Tanzania, Ethiopia, India, Sierra Leone, Congo, Costa Rica, and Orange County, CA. Where possible we also have women in the villages make the uniforms to allow them some income and help the local community. We feel every child deserves an education and it is the only way out of their poverty.
