May 17, 2020 | This Monday, Rainbow® Sandals Foundation donated 2 bins (approx. 1,500 pounds) of organic avocados to South County Outreach in Irvine, CA. The 5 main areas they help in are: 1. Hunger and Homelessness Prevention, offering on-site prevention programs, one on one case management, as well as resources & referrals. 2. Food Pantry, provides a week worth of perishables and non-perishable food/month. 3. Utility & Rental Assistance 4.Computer Training: the computer learning lab helps those who are unemployed or underemployed to improve their skills to increase employment opportunities. 5.Housing : they offer housing, rent subsidies, plus clothing vouchers to shop at Upscale Resale Thrift Store.
