Rainbow Sandals Foundation is proud to continue its support to the San Juan Elementary School.
Our donation will help fund a range of programs at San Juan Elementary, including the Outdoor Science School field trip for 5th graders, supplemental safety equipment such as additional radios for staff, new playground equipment, extra teacher materials and trainings, and the Positive Behavior Intervention Program, which features a student incentive store stocked with engaging toys.
San Juan Elementary, a Title 1 dual-language school within the Capistrano Unified School District, serves about 675 students from preschool through 5th grade. Situated near the historic San Juan Capistrano Mission, the school boasts a unique charm as one of the oldest campuses in the district. Students come from diverse backgrounds and are learning in both English and Spanish, aiming to become bilingual, biliterate, and culturally competent. They also enjoy weekly PE, music, and STEAM lessons. Additionally, San Juan Elementary supports families with before- and after-school care through partnerships with the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club.
