May 17, 2021 | Rainbow® Sandals Foundation donated 6 bins (approx. 6,300 pounds) of organic avocados to OC Food Bank of Garden Grove. The OCFB, is a program of Community Action Partnership of Orange County, CA. They unite communities to end hunger and malnutrition by partnering with ore than 300 local charities, soup kitchens and community organizations. Through donated food, United States Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) commodities and purchased food, distributing almost 40 million pounds of food in 2020 and in August 2020 served over 1 million people.
