We are proud to support Mares Foundation who continues to support a community promoting a clean and safe Ocean throughout Latin America. On Tuesday, October 8th, Mares Foundation unveils a mural created by Ensenada artist Roche Adn at the Ocean Institute located in Dana Point, CA.
The Mares Foundation aims to reduce ocean pollution by educating youth. Founded in Baja California, Mexico, they believe that no matter where we live, we're all connected to the ocean's health. Their initial goal was to teach K-12 students in Baja about Ocean Literacy. Now, Mares Foundation has expanded to train instructors across Latin America, with programs in Chile, Peru, Brazil, Guatemala, Spain, and multiple regions in Mexico. Thanks to a donations, they can create educational content and provide supplies for children.
