Thanks to Rainbow Sandals Foundation’s recent donation, Manos Que Sobreviven will be hosting a Thanksgiving dinner and a Christmas event for the community, as well as invest in a new refrigerator essential for their food distribution program in the coming year. In 2023 alone, Manos Que Sobreviven distributed thousands of pounds of food to families across Northeast Los Angeles and provided support to senior centers, shelters for families and children, daycare centers, and recovery programs. The organization’s mission extends to serving low-income families, individuals with special needs, and those impacted by health challenges, offering essentials and building partnerships with other nonprofits and public entities to expand access to resources. Rainbow’s contribution plays a significant role in enabling Manos Que Sobreviven to continue this vital work and further strengthen the community.
