“What started in 2011 with simple acts of gratitude preparing and serving food to LA skid row residents, twelve years later has evolved into a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that distributed food to 31,749 individuals and families in 2022 in partnership with LA Regional Foodbank. Other partnerships include Children's Hospital LA and Queenscare Health, which provide medical, dental, and vision services at its food lines. However, its founder, Alberto Galvan, began his US journey in San Clemente.” Rainbow® Sandals Foundation also donated 100 pairs of Repair • Reuse • Recycle Rainbow® Sandals that will be redistributed to those in need.
