June 15, 2023 – This morning, we had Western Eagle Foundation pick up 9 bins of organic Avocados. Located in Temecula, they serve 350,000 families annually. Every week, local food pantries, other nonprofit agencies providing hunger relief, and faith-based organizations pick up pallets of food at the Western Eagle drive-thru and transport them to distribution sites in the outlying and rural areas of Riverside County and San Diego County. Working together, Western Eagle helps to fill neighbors’ plates. At the same time, Rick from Saddleback Church Food Pantry received 190 pounds of avocados.
