Our Mission

Rainbow® Sandals Foundation's mission is to improve and enhance the lives of individuals facing various challenges. This includes, but is not limited to, those who are low-income, unhoused, orphaned, victims of natural disasters, military veterans, refugees, and people with disabilities. This is achieved by providing food, footwear, clothing, and hygiene supplies. Additionally, we offer resources and funding to other organizations that deliver these services to the communities.

Founded by Jay “Sparky” Longley in April 2014, Rainbow Sandals Foundation was born from Sparky's compassionate nature and his desire to give back to the community. Initially focusing on enhancing educational and athletic opportunities, the foundation partnered with organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to support after-school programs. Fundraising efforts included hosting stand-up paddle boarding competitions like the Battle of the Paddle.

In recent years, the Rainbow Sandals Foundation has significantly expanded its impact through a variety of initiatives and partnerships. These efforts now encompass educational support, recovery programs, disaster relief, animal welfare, environmental conservation, and community development. Committed to its mission of a better future, the foundation continues to positively impact lives and assist those in need, striving to make a meaningful difference in the world.
