Rainbow® Sandals Foundation recently donated a total of 1484 pairs of Repair • Reuse • Recycle Rainbow® Sandals to Orange County Rescue Mission, Crossline Church, and Mary's Kitchen. The 1484 pairs consisted of 884 pairs of men's and 600 pairs of women's. These sandals will be distributed to those in need.
Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin aims to treat each person with respect and dignity. They help everyone from many walks of life and are all wounded in different ways. They prayerfully consider implementing an individual Treatment Plan for those who come for help.
Crossline Church in Laguna Hills will distribute the sandals to those in need, along with their weekly food program. And the help of the many volunteers, plus their vehicle transportation teams for those who are somewhat shut-ins.
Mary's Kitchen has been helping those in need for over 30 years throughout the City of Orange. Six days a week, they serve breakfast and lunch. Once a week, they distribute clothing, shoes, and hygiene supplies. They also have showers giving the people a greater sense of dignity.
